Includes oak chassis, front panel, printed circuit board, phono jacks for input and external speaker. Built-in speaker with front facing grille, on-off switch, and 9 volt battery connector. | Our little 12K5 tube crystal controlled oscillator was designed for 40 meter code CW operation. It was first published in CQ magazine in 2006. The output is a fraction of a watt. It can be used to send cw code to a close by receiver. Or for code practice. Or marker signal. You get a complete instruction manual with assembly, wiring, testing, soldering and construction tips. Kit includes "New Old Stock" 12 volt plate 12K5 tube. Supplied with kit is a new 40 meter crystal, mini tuning capacitor, tube socket, clips, and a coil form with winding instructions, and a spare coil form for experimentation.
