Well, the receiver manual is just about ready. Still trying to improve it.
The Pastime Projects manuals typically have a photo of the product. We came to the conclusion that this cover would have FIVE photos. If the great illustrations in the manual didnt cover every detail, the builder could always look at the photos on the front cover!  We have 24 pages in the manual at this time.  This includes eleven illustrations;  some full page size;  others are
embedded in the pages of descriptive text. The parts list is being checked by our 'first build' (where we take a production kit and build it here using the new manual and the parts list supplied in each kit.)  From the parts list we have researched our costs and looks like the final selling price can be held below $75.00.  That is our goal.  The receiver includes the new capacitor with built in reduction drive,  the husky iron choke for great audio isolation,  the great front panel,  and many, many other new items chosen for quality.  The shop will start the 'first build' tomorrow.
