December 11:  Good Evening!

The little regenerative receiver is essentially done. We are getting a quote on a front panel. Meanwhile, the assembly manual is underway. Along with that is the bill of materials from which we can determine the selling price.  The attached photo is a early sample of the receiver. It is attached to a little imported solid state battery (or wall wart) powered audio amplifier meant for I pod use.  The audio amplifier we sell - the "mini-woofen" was designed a long time ago for use with the regen receiver. We decided we wanted to use a speaker and forget about old high impedance headphones. The 'Mimi-woofen' is available. 

However,  we found these little imported  audio amplifiers (as seen in the photo) on sale and bought the store out.  That is only about nine or ten.  They are very cool,  and if you are interested in one, they will be $20.00 delivered to your US address.  A little more than we paid, but we will guarantee they work for you or you get your money back. Unless there is damage. 

We are adding another "Look Ma" 12 volt transmitter kit very soon.  It will operate on 80 meters, with crystal,  and still with very low output. But, fun to build, and a start in a companion for our new 80 meter regen receiver.

The next run of 6V6 transmitters are going to be updated in design.  The updates which will use additional parts and instructions, will be also be offered to previous model customers at little or no cost...The price of the revised kits may increase slightly.
