Entry for September 7, 2008

We have arrived back home from today's Findlay Ohio Hamfest.  Thanks to the Findlay crew for another very successful show! Just a light rain in the early morning to "hold the dust down" and then a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine. Many folks selling; both businesses and hams in the buildings and out doors. Again this year many food vendors available with a great variety of choices.

One very enterprising Ham from the Columbus area set up a table next to Pastime Projects and offered a variety of typical ham stuff on the 'Honor System' . Just pick out the items you want and put a fair amount in the cash jar. He later told me it worked out pretty well. Most of us are honest - I am proud to be part of the amateur radio fraternity.

Once again xyl Sue was the main attraction at our table with her ear rings and pins made of little radio parts. We are planning to "take our show" to  Fort Wayne again this year. More on that later.

Hope your Sunday was great too! 73 es bcnu!  Glenn NN8G
