The transformers in the new power supply represent about 1/3 of the selling price.  The power supply is easily capable of being modified to a voltage doubler circuit.  In these days of law suits,  we felt it safer to design the power supply for the 200 volt output range, and let our more experienced buyers modify the voltage out to produce a maximum increase in transmitter power output.  There is plenty of current to handle small transmitters at twice the transformer rated voltage. Just design within the transformer ratings. If any of you would prefer to build the power supply using a metal chassis, email us for a quote less the wood chassis and brass screrws.  The manual includes the schematic and the construction illustrations are still adaptable to metal chassis.  Work would be simplified since the wood chassis has a floating ground that connects from point to point across the chassis to allow tying  ground connections together.

The monthly newsletter is about ready for release. If you want a copy just email us and we will add you to the list. We do not share email addresses of our readers. You can get off the list at any time by emailing us to remove you from the list.
